Northern Arizona Glam Squad has been offering sunless spray tans for over an decade. We are certified in sunless spray tanning. We offer Norvell and Sjolie Tanning Solutions. The spray tan process is fairly quick. Usually 15 minutes is all we need.
The appointment will start with a color consultation. One of our certified spray techs will help you pick out a solution that best suits your skin tone, and desired depth. Then the technician will customize the spray solution to suit your desired look.
We offer 8 hour tanning solutions as well as rapid solutions. All spray tan session come with PH balancing spray, barrier cream, and finishing powder. Optional are the scent additives, shimmer, tanning sticker, and disposables.
All spray tan are preformed by a technician and a handheld spray tan gun. Each tan is customize for your skin tone, and depth. In addition, we specialize in bridal spray tans .
All services concluded with drying, body powder, and any blending if applicable.
PREPARATION
For best results, we recommend you do some prep work. First, exfoliate your skin. Showering and exfoliating will remove surface oils and impurities as well as accumulations of dead skin cells which all impede an even result from your spray tan. You don’t want to over-exfoliate and irritate your skin. A soft scrub with a wash cloth will do a good job.
When it comes to shaving before your spray tan, ideally you should shave at least 24 hours before your tan.
Please wear loose, dark clothing, and flip flop to avoid rubbing off your fresh spray tan. In addition, please arrive with no deodorant, or makeup on your skin. These products can create a barrier to the tanning solution which can cause uneven results.
AFTERCARE
After you have completed your spray tan service. We recommend you do not get any water, or liquid on your skin. Including anything that can cause sweating. We don’t want any streaking in your final results.
The cosmetic tan will be visible right away, but your real tan is developing. 8 hour solutions should process for a minimum of 8 hours up to 24 hours. Rapid tans can be rinsed as soon as 2 hours but should be left on longer for darker finish. After the processing time, you can rinse the solution off with just skin. The spray tan will last between 7-10 days.
We retail the Norvell maintenance kit, Sjolie tan extender, body wash, and X-TAN remover. Please ask your technician about which products are best to maintenance your gorgeous tan.
SKIN ISSUES
Although spray tans are fast, and results are immediate. We do not recommend them for everyone. If you have skin issues such as dry, flaky skin, cracked skin, or, eczema. Spray tanning will not cover these issues up. Most likely the tanning process will enhance, or bring forth the appearance more. Its just like makeup. The most expensive makeup in the world won’t make you look better unless the foundation the makeup goes on is in good condition. We recommend you work on your skin prior to receiving a spray tan, so you can enjoy beautiful results. Let us know if you need any suggestion on how to do this. We are here to help.
CONSENT
Guest under the age of 18 years of age are required to have a signed consent form by one of their parents, or have a parent present at the service appointment.
PARTIES
Parties : Minimum of 5 people. Each person is $45 for 8 hour tan solutions. Refreshments, and food are welcomed for your group appointment.
