About our Hair Designs and Updo Services
Northern Arizona Glam Squad are the experts in hair designs, and updos. Our large glam team specializes in a wide variety of hair designs ranging from everyday styling, special events, fashion shoots, editorial, period hair, updos, and wedding hair designs. We have extensive education, and knowledge in the field of hair design. We use our expertise to make you feel absolutely gorgeous!

PREP
Please use a hair mask a few weeks leading up to your appointment. On the day of the service, please arrive with clean dry hair, but with minimum hair conditioner. Smooth, blowout hair is best. This creates the perfect canvas to start your hair design service.
Please don’t arrive with dirty, or oily hair. This creates an issue with designing. Styling products are so amazing nowadays your hair stylist can create the texture you need for your design.
Your hair stylist will begin your hair design services by reviewing your inspo images with you. Please have them available on your smart device. No image. No problem. Let’s talk about it face-to-face prior to the start of your hair service.
Any unique style, please send image in advance so the hair artist can best prepare for your appointment.
Hair Salon blowout appointments are also available to prep your hair the day before the service appointment. Just another option for you to consider.
HAIR EXTENSIONS
If you are planning on adding clip-in hair extensions to your service, please have them washed, and dry before arriving to the salon. Fresh out of the box hair extensions have a preservative smell, and do not curl well. Make sure the hair is 100% human hair. Instant hair, and crown hair that is not 100% human hair can not be curled. It will melt. Please reach out if you need advice on how to best prep your hair extensions.
ACCESSORIES
We love a good hair accessory. Please let the stylist know you will adding a hair accessory or veil to your service. It is best for us to place into your hair design to ensure security. We also have hair accessory available for purchase.
WEDDINGS
If you would like to schedule a bridal hair appointment, we require a $50 retainer payment made in advance. Due to past no-show this is now our new reality, so we respect the stylist’s time.
